The Portuguese brand ADAMASTOR® was founded in Porto in 2010, with the ambition of bringing the business world and academia closer together around a shared passion for the automobile, giving shape to the founders’ vision, Ricardo Quintas and Nuno Faria, through a project focused on developing a race car, with the contribution of Frederico Ribeiro, Engineering Director, and the collaboration of several Portuguese universities in the areas of engineering, management and marketing, involving student teams supported by business mentors. Faced with early challenges and the need to gain momentum, the Portuguese brand ADAMASTOR® turned obstacles into opportunity and evolved technically through successive chassis generations, culminating in the P003 model, a milestone in consolidating internal know-how and a platform for new goals, further strengthened by the integration of specialist partners such as Alfredo Matos and João Passos, from DBE – Chassis and Suspension Engineering. This constant drive to grow and push boundaries led to a new phase focused on the GT category, underpinned by studies and positioning analyses, with a focus on the GT4 and GT3 racing markets, alongside the expansion of its facilities and the consolidation of an international network of partnerships that ensures access to cutting-edge technologies, equipment and components within motorsport, including expertise drawn from Formula 1 and the World Rally Championship. Aligned with a culture that values people, capability and technical excellence, the Portuguese brand ADAMASTOR® repositioned itself in 2019 as a low-volume supercar manufacturer, with its own technology centre and workshops, guided by the determination to build a highly efficient race car capable of winning in GT and giving rise to a road-homologated version, with the stated vision of one day competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
