Founded in 2015 in Alcanena, the Portuguese brand BIOVÓ® has established itself in the field of natural cosmetics through artisanal production made in Portugal, rooted in knowledge, sustainability and respect for nature. Created by Verónica Paiva, a biologist specialising in natural cosmetics and naturopathy, the Portuguese brand BIOVÓ® develops soaps, solid shampoos, balms and other personal care products using ingredients of natural and plant origin, favouring organic raw materials whenever possible. Its connection to the Portuguese territory is reflected in the use of extra virgin olive oil from the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros, an ingredient that reinforces the brand’s authenticity and identity. Recognised as an Artisanal Production Unit, the Portuguese brand BIOVÓ® combines tradition, scientific knowledge and environmental awareness, complementing its production with training and environmental education initiatives.
