The Portuguese brand QUINTA DO CRASTO® belongs to one of the most prestigious national producers of Douro and Port wines. Located in the heart of the Douro Valley – the oldest demarcated wine region in the world and classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001 – QUINTA DO CRASTO® benefits from exceptional conditions for the production of premium wines and olive oils.
Each year, QUINTA DO CRASTO® produces 1.5 million bottles of Douro and Port wines in the Douro region, in a variety of categories, with 60% destined for the domestic market and the remaining 40% exported to 54 markets across five continents.
In addition to its wines, the QUINTA DO CRASTO® brand also produces 65,000 bottles of extra virgin olive oil annually, using olives from its organically farmed groves. These are located in the Cima Corgo sub-region – where 15,000 bottles of Quinta do Crasto Premium olive oil are produced – and in the Douro Superior, at Quinta da Cabreira, which supplies 50,000 bottles of Quinta do Crasto Selection olive oil.
In the field of wine tourism in Portugal, QUINTA DO CRASTO® has also stood out for its unique and exclusive character: not only due to the exceptional quality of its wines, which are highly appreciated during tastings, but also for its outstanding personalised service and its extraordinary landscape, with a privileged view over the right bank of the Douro River. These qualities make the estate a must-visit destination for wine tourism.
QUINTA DO CRASTO® currently welcomes around 12,000 visitors per year.
