The Portuguese footwear brand XUZ – HANDMADE LOVERS® is born from the idea of retaking its origins in all that is genuine, in the certainty that this return is capable of making a difference in the way the present is lived and the way future will look like. Today, the movement is one of globalization, massification and mass manufacturing… very, fast, well done and for everyone. The brand XUZ – HANDMADE LOVERS® knows how to live this way and recognizes that this way of life is part of everyday life, but it sincerely believes that there is space, time and willingness to rediscover tradition and reinvent it in the light of today! This is what the Portuguese footwear brand XUZ – HANDMADE LOVERS® made. It took the traditional clogs that were used in immemorial times and, keeping its original model, redid them making them current pieces that you feel like using and abusing. The XUZ – HANDMADE LOVERS® brand was looking in Portugal for those who dedicate their lives to working the wood, cutting it, stroking it, always perfecting the manual technique of making the “wood” of the clog, in a tradition that went from parents to children and grandparents to grandchildren. The spirit of the brand XUZ – HANDMADE LOVERS® is to create unique pieces. Unique because they are made by the hands of (still) true artisans of old crafts… Unique because the XUZ – HANDMADE LOVERS® brand wants the re-creation of each model to be limited to a small number of pairs!
