SORS® is a 100% Portuguese brand, with a sustainable vision of high quality and exclusive design. Timeless pieces of any contemporary, comfortable wardrobe. Created in 2016, the brand SORS® is a fusion of technique and creativity. Miguel Pinto, the founder of the brand SORS® and the creative mind behind all the pieces, is a former banker who decided to change his life and dedicate himself to his true passion. He learned to sew at a young age with his grandmother, in an old iron Singer, where he patched his brother’s and friends’ surfing suits. Although his professional life took him down another path, he was always interested in fashion and experimented with modeling with friends. When he worked at a bank, he started making dresses for his colleagues, as he realized the need to always be impeccable but practical and without having to waste a lot of time in the morning, which in 2016 led him to dedicate himself full time to his hobby. He created the brand SORS® with the aim of offering wardrobe essentials, creating timeless pieces that stay beyond the seasons. Through the fusion of traditional methods with new techniques and selected raw materials, each collection is idealized in detail, with most of the pieces still made by him. With the brand’s growth came the need to resort to small studios in the Lisbon area, but always ensuring that the materials are national and sustainable. The brand SORS® standards are developed by a friendly designer and all exclusive pieces are created from the reuse of materials. SORS®’s mission is to develop creative pieces that complete any women’s wardrobe, with good design and cut, but functional, comfortable and of high quality and durability. SORS® pieces always have small or even unique print runs, as the brand SORS® wants to ensure the individuality, quality of the national and unique product.
