BRAND SERRA OCA®

The Portuguese brand SERRA OCA® produces wines from Portuguese grape varieties with non-intensive viticulture and respecting the nature. The harvest is manual and the grapes are vinified in a simple way, with natural yeasts, privileging time as a fundamental factor for the quality of the wines. The wine of the brand SERRA OCA® are produced in Quinta do Olival da Murta that has, since its origin, a history of grape and wine production. With a climate influenced by the Atlantic and the proximity of Serra de Montejunto, the Quinta is located in the Lisbon Wine Region, which is characterized by aromatic red wines, rich in tannins and with great capacity to age in bottle, and a great diversity of fresh and balanced whites. Quinta do Olival da Murta is a traditional agricultural structure of family nature, developed over four generations. It is located 80 km from Lisbon, next to the Serra de Montejunto. As is typical of these rural areas, around the main grape and wine production, a wide variety of complementary activities have emerged over time that, in an organic way, integrate a diverse unit rich in traditional histories and knowledge. A story that teaches us again to respect nature and to value the use of environmentally sustainable production methods.
