BRAND ROC2C®

The Portuguese brand ROC2C® works with architects and end clients by consulting, supplying and applying Portuguese Cobblestone Pavement in national and international projects with high levels of demand. In 1999, in a landscape surrounded by raw material in the center of Portugal, Celso Gonçalves dared to think differently by innovating in the way he got technical knowledge about stone. During years he continued to gather knowledge by extracting stone in almost one hundred quarries in its region, but later, in 2002 with the purchase of its own quarry, he could initiate what would later become the brand ROC2C® and his dream of valuing and dignifying Portuguese pavement, from extraction to execution. Throughout decades he conducted historical research about Portuguese pavement and has been using it to validate the brand ROC2C® projects online, value his level of expertise and spread this Portuguese tradition. The brand ROC2C® is set up on a high-quality standard thought for the global client, with high requirements. By using this model, the brand ROC2C® has worked with architects such as Álvaro Siza Vieira, David Chipperfield, Nuno Graça Moura, Souto de Moura, Amanda Levete and Peter Marino in national and international projects. These collaborations with important names in the architectural world lead to the execution of relevant projects like “#House #1.130”, “The Lake Spa Resort”, “Convento de Santa Maria de los Reyes”, “Bom Sucesso Design Resort, Leisure & Golf”, “Three on Abbott”, among others. The brand ROC2C® is proud of its vast portfolio of many international projects which include exports to Qatar, Canada, Australia, China, Brazil, more than 10 American cities and over 10 European countries.Today, as in the beginning, the brand ROC2C®’s main goal is to dignify the Portuguese historical richness by transforming the best raw material in the best projects, for the best clients.
