QUEIJO TÉTÉ® is a Portuguese dairy brand that, since its founding more than sixty years ago, has always known how to put the exact measures of tradition and innovation in the production process of its products. With the help of the first generation, the Amaro family started producing fresh cheese in 1960. A small and traditional production, initially to drain the milk from their small dairy farm. In 1985, never putting aside the traditional characteristics of its products, the brand QUEIJO TÉTÉ® starts a more industrialized production, diversifying, also through this way, the cheese offer. In 1998, the production of curd and cured cheese begins. With an investment of more than two million euros, the brand QUEIJO TÉTÉ® inaugurates its current facilities, equipped with a laboratory to guarantee a continuous and more rigorous monitoring of the manufacturing process, and an E.T.A.R., aimed at reducing the environmental impact caused by the production of dairy products. A plot of land, adjacent to the production unit, is also reserved for planting trees and a garden area. In 2002, the brand QUEIJO TÉTÉ® introduced the cottage cheese with garlic and aromatic herbs, the cottage cheese with pumpkin jam and the cow and sheep mixture cheese. 6 years later, the brand QUEIJO TÉTÉ® starts the production of fresh goat cheese and in 2010 it will be administered by the third generation of the Amaro family. The production of goat, sheep and cow butters and fresh sheep cheese started in 2013 and in 2017, the brand QUEIJO TÉTÉ® starts the production of natural goat yogurt. 2019 is the year in which the ISO220002005 Food Safety Certification is awarded to the brand QUEIJO TÉTÉ®, the flavor of the generations.
