PROJETO SERRA® is a Portuguese outwear clothing brand. Its founders grew up in the middle of nature. Scouting entered their lives very early and made them travel the rawest landscapes of the Portuguese mountains, sleep under the starriest skies and find light in the most unlikely clearings in the forest. They are from the “earth”. From the resin-stained hands after hugging the trees, from the face dusty from the dry earth and from the feet screaming for rest. The best memories they created were always with the “people” of every corner, village or town they passed through and therefore, it was early on that they chose to honor them, either by word-of-mouth or in the stories they told later after arriving home tired, but full of adventures to reveal. The brand PROJETO SERRA® appears as one more way to give life and voice to these people and their traditions. It arises from the desire to bring the interior of Portugal closer to all the Portuguese and the world. They started this adventure with this mission and purpose. As lovers of nature, traditions and outdoor activities, they believe it is their responsibility to promote, protect and preserve these spaces. Thus, whether contributing to the protection of the Iberian lynx and wolf in Gerês, to the maintenance of traditions or to the preservation of nature trails in Serra da Freita, PROJETO SERRA®’s conviction, commitment, character and attitudes are always summarized and better to the respect and trust they have for the outdoors and for the people who make Portugal so special. The brand PROJETO SERRA® aims to reinvent the way we look at more rural garments. “Serra” because each of the pieces of the brand PROJETO SERRA® is connected to a mountain range in Portugal. Connected through raw material, customs and mountain models. Each piece fulfills its purpose of democratizing the customs of the interior and helping to finance projects to promote each Mountain or Natural Park.
