BRAND OLAIO®
The Portuguese furniture brand OLAIO® is part of the affective and material heritage of several generations of Portuguese. Between the mid-1930s and the late 1980s, furniture built by the brand OLAIO® was not only seen in many homes, but also in the post offices, hospitals, schools, ministries, public offices, hotels, theatres, cafes, in Portuguese movies and even in Parliament. A part of the history of the country sits on the chairs of the company founded by José OLAIO® still in the nineteenth century. 2016 was the year of re-launch of the brand OLAIO® – the beginning of a new production of high quality Portuguese furniture.
