The brand MEMÓRIA LUSA® was founded in 2013 by Fernanda Matias, a true lover of Portugal for its culture and history. The passion for this beautiful country very quickly gave soul to a ceramic project that has Portugal in its soul. The Portuguese brand MEMÓRIA LUSA® is located in Alcobaça, a municipality with a great ceramic tradition. MEMÓRIA LUSA® brand is inspired by the Portuguese culture, the customs of the Portuguese people, the legends and traditions of the regions, the symbols of what is more Portuguese and what remains in the collective memory, so that we can return to moments imaginary, marked by the intensity of what we live, recreating with a touch of modernity and small pieces of Portuguese identity, ceramic pieces with soul, memory and passion. With a manual manufacturing and painting process following traditional methods from start to finish, each MEMÓRIA LUSA® piece takes a little bit of Portugal to the four corners of the world.
