MARTINE LOVE® is a Portuguese fashion brand inspired by vintage style and ancient traditions, modernized and handmade by true artisans. The MARTINE LOVE® brand was born in Lisbon and is embroidered in Portugal. The MARTINE LOVE® brand client is modern, sophisticated, self-respecting and loves to pamper herself. The brand MARTINE LOVE® is all about love, integrity, empathy and kindness. In 2007, Marta Champalimaud, the founder of the MARTINE LOVE® brand, started her professional career in advertising in Barcelona, where she lived for two years. Upon returning to Portugal in 2009, she spent an eight-year period working with her family at The Oitavos Hotel. During this time, she began to dream about creating and growing a clothing brand of her own. A summer lover, colors addict and an enthrallment for beautiful clothes, Marta pursued her goal of launching a brand and combined all her efforts to make it happen. One day it simply came to her – the traditional Viana do Castelo embroidery which was present in lots of her home textiles had never been modernized or made fashionable within the clothing industry… The rest is history!
