BRAND LUSO®
The Portuguese brand LUSO®, which started to be commercialized in 1894, is the brand of a natural mineral water exploited through three abstractions in drawing artisanism, from which emanates a very light water due to the mineralogical specificity of the aquifer (crystalline quartz) and which are benefited by the unique nobility of its recharge areas – Serra do Buçaco. The protection of this resource is guaranteed by a strict exploitation plan and careful surveillance, exercised over a legally defined perimeter of protection. The brand LUSO® is a natural mineral water rich in silica and containing precious trace elements. The mineral water of the brand LUSO® is an exceptional resource. It rises at a temperature of 28ºC in the village of Luso. It originates in rainwater infiltrated in Serra do Buçaco, in rocks formed almost exclusively by quartz, called quartzites.
