It is in Coimbra, the mythical and poetic city of orange groves, where once made fabulous tangerine and orange liqueurs, and where the monasteries developed sweet and aromatic distillates with healing powers, among others, that produces the liqueurs of the Portuguese brand LÁGRIMA DO MONDEGO®. Following the history of the city of Coimbra and Portugal since the 12th century, using centennial prescription, the brand LÁGRIMA DO MONDEGO® features two dual concept drinks – one aperitif liqueur D’o Rei and one digestive liqueur D’a Rainha – authentic Portuguese tears that pay tribute to celebrated romantic couples from Portuguese History as Estrela and Diego, Pedro and Inês, Isabel and Diniz, Ataces and Cindazunda. The 20% vol. LÁGRIMA DO MONDEGO® D´a Rainha liqueur reuses the recipe and the ancestral / conventual method of the region, not suffering from the addition of chemicals in its composition. It is a harmonious combination of flavours and aromas combined with orange, spices and flowers, matured in long-lasting wine spirit. It is clear and light amber, with hints of oranges oils, the basis of its production. The mild flavour is ideal for consumption as a digestive. Pure, cold, with ice, or as a base for excellent blends. Simple and fresh mixtures for any season. With dark beer and passion fruit, is made a unique cocktail – Fado. LÁGRIMA DO MONDEGO® D’o Rei liqueur, with 22% vol., also reuses the recipe and the ancestral / conventual method of the region, not suffering from the addition of chemicals in its composition and seeks a modern and contemporary positioning, with a harmonious combination. of flavours, plants and spices, combined with the aroma of four fruits, also with elongated maturation in wine brandy. As an aperitif drink with ice and carbonated water or tonic water. The mint or lemon junction can be a cocktail base with vodka or cachaça.
