Developed on the most beautiful and fertile slopes of Serra de Aire and Candeeiros, the first gin brand from Ribatejo – the brand GOTIK® – appears in a clear homage to the city of Santarém, which the art historian Virgílio Correia once called the Capital of the Gothic, justified by the hegemonic architectural style present in its buildings. It is even inspired by this collection of constructions that this Portuguese brand of gin proudly name its editions. The brand GOTIK® is already present in two gin categories – it has a London Dry, present in the Santa Clara edition, and a Cask Aged 3M, present in the São Francisco edition. The latter, is a gin made from London Dry that calmly ages in French oak barrels previously wineed with the brand smothered liqueur wine, Bem Casado. This winey stage adds complexity, flatters and adds character to the gin, adding even more depth and fullness of flavour.
