The founder Elsa Barreto was born in Braga, Portugal. Her interest in fashion started very early, at the age of 12 she was already creating clothes for her dolls and, a few years later, for her friends. Over the years, Elsa has developed an unconventional view of fashion, easily discernible through her own style and her creations – bold and unique pieces. Soon after, Elsa started working in the area, as head of the department for creating women’s clothing at a large textile company in Portugal. Four years later, the aspiration to share his own vision of fashion made him decide to create his own brand – ELSA BARRETO®.
