The brand CATA VASSALO® started out as a brand that was part of the dreams of Iberian brides, through the design and manufacture of unique and exclusive pieces molded to their image and preferences. The mission of the brand CATA VASSALO® was to make each of its brides unique in the world and the unforgettable protagonist of their day. Later, the brand CATA VASSALO® was extended to the guests, believing that they, too, are fundamental pieces of a wedding. For its guests, the brand CATA VASSALO® created pieces that became signatures of its style, on all special occasions. Today, the brand CATA VASSALO® is more! CATA VASSALO® is a Portuguese jewelry brand that prides itself on designing and producing unique pieces manually, aligned with the concept of slow fashion, which allow giving voice to the identity and dreams of each Portuguese woman. The brand CATA VASSALO® does not make accessories, creates exclusive pieces that express the personal and unique femininity that exists in each woman. This is the mission of the brand CATA VASSALO® and this is what truly drives it. Catarina Vassalo, founder and designer of the brand CATA VASSALO®, lived between Valencia and London for more than a decade. Immersed in these cultures, she understood that in both countries, weddings were seen as events of excellence, through fashion and accessories, of experimenting and risking using unique pieces that highlighted both brides and their guests. Inspired by the disruptive way in which Spanish women viewed accessories on special occasions, Catarina opened her first studio in the historic center of Valencia. On the day Kate Middleton and Prince William were married, the designer sold her first headdress and never stopped. In 2015 she returned to Portugal and inaugurated the brand and atelier CATA VASSALO® with the mission of creating exclusive pieces that become signatures of each woman’s unique identity. Atelier CATA VASSALO® is an inspiring place for all women.
