The Portuguese brand CASTELBEL® is a company that manufactures body care products, environmental fragrances and the famous scented soaps, directly from Castêlo da Maia to the world. From humble beginnings, the brand CASTELBEL® had its origins at the end of the last century, the result of a challenge posed by an American business partner to the founder, Engineer Aquiles Barros, at the time teaching at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. Surrounded by a team of professionals with diverse interests and backgrounds, including a team of talented designers, it has grown the company and today the CASTELBEL® brand is present in over 1,000 points of sale in 50 countries. Specializing in home and body fragrances, the brand CASTELBEL® is a pioneer in many areas. It was the first brand to produce fragrance diffusers in Portugal. It has also innovated in the area of scented sachets with an exclusive invention that uses Portuguese cork to release fragrances slowly and prolonged. Nowadays, it also produces a range of solid, practical and eco-friendly shampoos and conditioners, revealing a growing interest in environmental responsibility and contributing to a more sustainable and clean future.
