BUZINA BRAND BY VERA FERNANDES® is a sustainable Portuguese brand inspired by the real woman, her identity and unique personality. All women are unique, and so should the pieces they wear. It is with this philosophy that BUZINA BRAND BY VERA FERNANDES® was born, a Portuguese fashion brand that saw the light of day in 2016 to dress all women who like exclusive, different and versatile pieces. Designed by Vera Fernandes, all the pieces of BUZINA BRAND BY VERA FERNANDES® have a single size and can be adapted to different styles and bodies, all it takes is a dose of creativity. After all, BUZINA BRAND BY VERA FERNANDES® is made for women with an attitude who like fashion, the dramatic and the basics at the same time, but above all, themselves – and maintain their authenticity. BUZINA BRAND BY VERA FERNANDES® intends to be the answer to essential basics that make a difference both for everyday looks and for special occasions. And because exclusivity is part of the DNA of BUZINA BRAND BY VERA FERNANDES®, each collection consists of just 20 pieces (produced between 10 and 70 times) and, as a complement, three new products are launched every fortnight. “Each seamstress is responsible for the piece from start to finish. I believe that this is the only way the piece is special and its quality impeccable. Social sustainability is also one of the policies of BUZINA BRAND BY VERA FERNANDES® and I believe that each piece will be part of someone’s history and, therefore, it should be as personalized as possible”, defends Vera Fernandes. The sustainability policy is also extended to fabrics and, to deal with waste and maximize existing resources, BUZINA BRAND BY VERA FERNANDES® recovers raw material from partner factories to produce its collections. One of them is Riopele S.A. Vera has a degree in Psychology, but she has always been passionate about fashion. She was raised with her maternal grandmother, who was “a very good modeler” and let Vera play with the fabrics and create different characters in the mirror. In 2013, after the birth of her daughter, Vera took her first steps and launched Meninamanel, a children’s fashion store. The mothers who bought clothes there praised her way of dressing and it was a leap to start creating her own pieces. “My first customers were children’s shop customers”, recalls Vera. This is how BUZINA BRAND BY VERA FERNANDES® was born, a brand created in her similarity to other women who, like her, so love to be themselves.
