The work of the Portuguese brand BENEDITA FORMOSINHO® has as main focus the creation of timeless pieces, by the design and quality, the noble materials, autochthonous of our country, the natural materials and the techniques with history and imbued with emotions. Promoting the concept of sustainability in a creative production, with ethics and made in Portugal, each piece is developed, recognizing its origin and evolution as a guarantee of cultural authenticity, where contemporary is combined with the revaluation of the traditional knowledge. Design pieces that can wear with the essentials of our wardrobe and that last in it for a long time is one of BENEDITA FORMOSINHO®’s missions. Each piece is developed one by one, with love, with respect for the people with whom BENEDITA FORMOSINHO® works with and for its customers, BENEDITA FORMOSINHO® carefully designs every detail. On a journey to our roots, with inspiration and emotion, ever moving art, timeless and responsible, made in Portugal. Benedita Formosinho is a young fashion designer, graduated from Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa. After an internship at Ricardo Preto’s workshop and some presentations and collaborations, she has been developing her own work in the area of clothing and accessories. Benedita Formosinho is moved by the desire to revalue details, manual techniques and Portuguese ancestral knowledge. In her journey in contact with predecessor generations she has known materials, techniques and experienced partnerships with artisans and small local productions.
