BRAND BEIJA-FLOR®
BEIJA-FLOR® is a Portuguese stationery brand that has a preference for patterns, illustration and everything Portuguese. The brand BEIJA-FLOR® dedicates to handmade bookbinding and some experiences with paper, thread, stamps and typography. It was created in Porto, in 2011, by two designer friends – Raquel and Su – as a way of distancing themselves from their jobs in front of a computer. In their kitchen they learnt how to make notebooks, chose tiles to draw the first covers, and decided to share the result. The collections of notebooks increased, special orders started, and the brand BEIJA-FLOR® took off. In 2014, after some deep thought, changes happened, and Su is now the only person in charge of the brand BEIJA-FLOR®. This is a personal and professional challenge that has been taking shape over the last couple of years. At BEIJA-FLOR® brand’s core there is paper and the uniqueness of each product.
