BRAND AROMÁTICAS VIVAS®
The Portuguese brand AROMÁTICAS VIVAS® was founded in 2009 with the aim of being, in Portugal, the largest and the most innovative producer of fresh aromatic herbs. It currently has a production area of more than 40,000 sq. m, producing and selling a wide range of aromatic herbs in pots and cut throughout the year. The production of aromatic herbs in pot is 100% organic and is carried out in a greenhouse, in a semi-hydroponic system (for sale in pot) and in soil (for sale in cut packaging). In addition to the aromatic herb varieties, the brand AROMÁTICAS VIVAS® started in 2018 the production of edible flowers and microgreens. The brand AROMÁTICAS VIVAS® sells in all supermarket groups in Portugal and Islands, as well as in some stores in Spain. In 2018, it also started supplying directly to the hotels and restaurants channel. The brand AROMÁTICAS VIVAS® is distinguished by its quality and a complete and multidisciplinary team of professionals who guarantee, every day and throughout the year, the highest prestige and maximum quality of aromatic herbs. Throughout the production process, the brand AROMÁTICAS VIVAS® uses innovative production and control techniques and practices, in a clear strategy to protect the health of consumers and ecosystems. The company created, internally, a Living Protection Unit, which develops auxiliary insects, later inserted in the plant ecosystem for pest control and combat, coexisting in conditions that are beneficial to both. In Portugal, the brand AROMÁTICAS VIVAS® is a pioneer in the production and development of auxiliary insects, being the only company to have its own unit for production and R&D in this area, and to commercialize this product in the national market, stimulating organic production. The Organic Production and Global G.A.P. are the guarantee of compliance with the demanding parameters and criteria of organic production and safe and sustainable agricultural practices.
