BRAND AMPHORA – CERVEJA ARTESANAL®

The Portuguese brand AMPHORA – CERVEJA ARTESANAL® is a craft beer brand belonging to the PCB – Portuguese Craft Beer project. Eight years after entering the market, positioning itself as an openly regional craft beer, with a market mainly in the cities of Braga and Guimarães, the brand AMPHORA – CERVEJA ARTESANAL® has grown and is now available in large commercial areas. Recently, the brand AMPHORA – CERVEJA ARTESANAL® proceeded to change its image and highlighted the brand name on the six labels of the brand, as if anticipating its strengthening in an offer of beers produced that remains – Bracara (Cream Ale), Imperator ( Quadrupel), Elysivm (Honey Ale), Gladiator (American IPA), Centvrivm (Imperial Stout) and Nemesis (Special Ale). At the same time, the new image of the brand AMPHORA – CERVEJA ARTESANAL® seeks to reinforce the genuine and handcrafted character of Braga’s beer, communicating in a simpler, more expressive and direct way. As in several other craft beer projects in Portugal, the manufacture of AMPHORA – CERVEJA ARTESANAL® also emerged as a homemade hobby. Then, the first contact with the public resulted in a success that quickly expanded. The name of beer refers to a ceramic container that, since the Neolithic period, has been widely used for the transport and storage of various products, especially liquids, such as wine, olive oil or water. Now, each AMPHORA – CERVEJA ARTESANAL® reaches consumers in bottles with 33cl of beer.
