BRAND ALDEIAS DO XISTO®

The Portuguese brand ALDEIAS DO XISTO® aims to communicate the existence of 27 traditional villages spread across 16 Municipalities of Pinhal Interior, in the Central Region of Portugal, in a territory of enormous beauty and offering endless possibilities for leisure. These centers have been the target of a requalification program that allows the brand ALDEIAS DO XISTO® to acquire human development potential, transforming themselves into dynamic tourist attraction hubs that allow the creation of a new economic base that includes, inter alia, the recovery of traditions, for the valorization of the built architectural heritage, for the dynamization of traditional arts and crafts and for the defense and preservation of the landscape in which the brand ALDEIAS DO XISTO® fall. This important work has not lost sight of what its main objective is – to improve the quality of life of the populations of ALDEIAS DO XISTO®, raising their levels of self-esteem, qualifying their social fabric and aggregating them in a participatory development process that it is, first of all, theirs.
