The Portuguese wine brand ADEGA MAYOR® is located in Alto Alentejo, in Campo Maior, on the border between Portugal and Spain. It was in this region, with a Mediterranean ecosystem and a strong tradition in the cultivation of vines and olive groves, that Commander Rui Nabeiro’s dream was born. Its proximity to the Serra de São Mamede, the granitic soils and the temperate climate contribute to the unique character of its wines. Since 2007, the brand ADEGA MAYOR® has opened the senses. The wines, born in Campo Maior, Portugal, are inspired by the world. Conceived by the famous architect Siza Vieira, the ADEGA MAYOR® building presents itself as the first designer winery in Portugal, unmistakable for its contemporary design. There are 180 hectares of vineyard spread over three estates – Argamassas, Godinha and Monte da Pina. As a brand, ADEGA MAYOR® stands out for its commitment to continuous improvement, not only for its focus on increasing and specializing its team, but also for valuing a responsible business model, through good environmental practices.
